Teaming up with co-executive producer Mona Scott-Young, the multi-talented rapper/actor/producer is taking his talents to WE tv.

50 (Curtis James Jackson III) reportedly exited STARZ, the home of his POWER franchise, his deal was not renewed.

After his Power and BMF fame, his next big project is set to look at the epidemic of violence in hip-hop culture.

There is no lack of content available, as it seems like every week we are learning about another rapper being taken out.

More than half those murders go unsolved.

Van Lathan, who is also a producer, is hosting the series.

As they investigate the many murders in the hip-hop community, their focus explores the deaths of Pop Smoke, XXTentacion, King Von, and more.

Pop Smoke is the first subject in episode 1, as he was killed in February 2020 in a robbery.

Also, as Pop Smoke’s mentor, 50 Cent himself is lending his voice to the project.

Including one-on-one interviews, the show has many artists sharing wisdom about the topic.

Among those participating include –

  • French Montana
  • Juvenile
  • Mannie Fresh
  • Vic Mensa
  • and more
