In June, ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ will officially come to an end.
What was once “The Wendy Williams Show” will be “The Sherri Shepheard Show” The deal with Shepheard has been finalized. The Sherri Shepheard Show will replace the Wendy Willaims show this fall.
The Wendy Williams Show: Officially Canceled
As reported by lovebscott: “The producers informed everyone that the [Wendy Show] was being canceled at the end of June. Then in the next breath, they hired everyone to work on the new Sherri show.”
Instagram account @WendyShow is no longer accessible to Wendy Williams herself.
An Effort to Replace Wendy Williams Has Been a Years-Long Process
It appears that Wendy Williams show executives have been trying to replace her for quite some time. For years even. However, to no avail. Wendy’s run-in with drugs and scandal has littered her mind, leaving her a shell of her former self some say.
However, we saw Wendy Willaims resurface in an Instagram video. She seemed like her old self. Some are saying it was just an old video repurposed for helping her regain favor with the public.
Production Says Wendy Did Not Want to Continue According To Her On-Set Behavior
Production has accused Wendy Williams of not wanting to be on the show anymore due to her tantrums and outbursts. However, this comes across as a bit of a setup considering that Wendy Williams has a history of being difficult to work with. Even Charlamagne that God recalled how individuals were discouraged from looking her in the eye. Also, interns and employees could not speak to her unless she initiated the conversation back when they were on the radio.
“[Wendy] had become somewhat unbearable, having tantrums and throwing things at people. Basically, the consensus among the crew is that she didn’t wanna be there anymore. Her illnesses may have exacerbated that feeling.” according to an insider.

After Wendy’s planned replacement, ‘The Jerry O’Connell Show,’ did not perform well in ratings, Debmar-Mercury renewed Wendy’s show despite Wendy’s health issues and numerous hiatuses.
Wendy may not return to the purple chair before her show concludes, but we here at Hip Hop Uncensored hope she does to at least give a good farewell.
