Mayweather And Antonio Brown. Antonio Browns’ NFL career is at a standstill. Recently, he’s been spending time with Floyd Mayweather. Well, things just got more interesting.

Mayweather And Antonio Brown. Antonio Brown might get another chance at an NFL career. Recently, CBS Sports reported that Floyd Mayweather offered an interesting stake.

In a nutshell, if Brown joins a team and messes up, Floyd will personally pay up. But there’s more to it.

You might remember A.B. walking off the field during a Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs New York Jets game earlier this year.

During the game, Antonio removed his protective equipment–then ran across the field throwing up the peace sign.

Before exiting the field, he removed his jersey and threw it into the crowd. Brown left us all stunned.

No one knew his motivation behind leaving. But every action has a reaction. Eventually, he stated he was injured. When he broke his silence, he explained:

“There’s a major difference between launching from the line and taking hits, compared to jogging off the field with a rush of emotions going through your mind. I am reflecting on my reaction, but there was a trigger. The trigger was someone telling me that I’m not allowed to feel pain.”

A.B. claimed Coach Arians fired him after refusing to return to the game. He assured his fans it’s not a mental health issue.

Well, the state of affairs resulted in the dissolution of his contract.

Possible New Beginning

Furthermore, Antonio started appearing alongside Floyd Mayweather in public.

It appears they’re good friends. As a result, Mayweather is vouching for Browns’ return to football.

Money Mayweather put an immense wager on the table. Here’s what he proposed:

“This is for any team that’s watching right now… We’ll make them a deal. If they sign and A.B. go through the whole season, no problems at all, and then they got to give us $20 million. But if he mess up then we got to give them $20 million. So if any team want to match that then reach out to us.”

Well, the proposition was met with mixed reviews.

Some folks appreciate Floyd sticking by the Roc Nation Sports athlete. And would love to see it.

While others believe Brown is getting exactly what he deserves.

No teams are taking Mayweather up on the offer yet. But we love the camaraderie.
