Offset is mourning the death of his Migos groupmate, Takeoff, and honoring him on his social media site.

Fans and celebrities alike are shocked by the news of his fatal shooting on November 1st.

Though he has made no public statements to date, that did not stop the rapper/singer/songwriter from honoring him.

After all, they are more than just groupmates, they are family.

Along with Quavo, the third member of the group, the Migos trio all grew up together in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Much has been made of the group breaking up and wondering why.

After all, Quavo and Takeoff recently dropped music without their counterpart, Offset.

Quavo is Takeoff’s uncle, and Offset is his cousin.

Taking to social media, Offset changed his avatar to a photo of Takeoff with a heart emoji.

This speaks volumes.

No matter if or why the Migos group ultimately broke up as a music group, they are still and will always be family.
