T.I. and Scrap joined Pastor Jamal in bailing out 23 offenders Easter. During the most Holy week for Christians Clifford Harris Jr., Will Robinson aka Scrap and Senior Pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church worked tirelessly to bail out first-time non-violent offenders.
T.I. and Scrap were good Samaritans to 23 people
The 23 non-violent offenders were home with their families for Easter. What a phenomenal gift. Pastor Jamal Bryant and New Birth launched a campaign to raise $40,000 during Lent to bail out people, according to The Source. However, the church was able to raise more than $120,000 with the help of T.I. and Scrap. The program called “The Bail Out” also provides the recipients of the program with certified mentors with weekly check-ins. And, the program provides college savings for recipients children. T.I. and Scrap used their celebrity status and money to help others less fortunate. And, now those 23 people have a chance to start over.
