Mike Vick Throwing Video Goes Viral. A few years back, Vick did a Powerade commercial. In the commercial, Vick threw a football out of the stadium. And, Vick recreated that moment with Rich Eisen.
Eisen is a host with NFL Network. According to The Spun, Eisen admitted Vick’s throw was “pretty awesome.” Also, Eisen stated he was a huge Vick fan. We could call the football throw “The Cannon.”
The NFL quarterback was one of the best in the league. Many may not remember but Vick was the highest-paid quarterback. However, he was found guilty of running an illegal dogfighting ring in 2007.
Unfortunately, that conviction was the beginning of his downfall. But I would like to focus on Vick’s contribution to football, instead. For me, Vick was a powerhouse on the field.
His college team Virginia Tech was undefeated when he played for them. Eventually, Vick left to play pro football, as reported by Britannica. Some would say that Vick did not fit the bill for a quarterback.
Because he was just 6 feet tall. Be that as it may, there was no way anyone could deny his athleticism. Virginia born and bred, Vick was a force to be reckoned with.

Atlanta Falcons team recruited him as the first overall NFL draft pick in 2001. It did not take Vick long to take the starting position as quarterback.
In his second year, Vick threw 2,936 yards and 16 touchdowns. That year he was selected to play in the Pro Bowl. After an impressive victory over The Green Bay Packers, he was given a $130 million contract.
At the time his contract was the largest awarded in NFL history. Later in his career, Vick was to a few other NFL teams (Philadelphia Eagles, New York Jets, and finally the Pittsburgh Steelers.
When Vick retired in 2017 he became a studio analyst for Fox Broadcasting Company. In my opinion, Vick is one of the NFL’s greatest.
