A lot of celebrities came out to celebrate Combs. Also, there were some great performances. Not to mention, Diddy performed his famous dance “Diddy Bop.” It was a star-studded event.
To top it off, Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds and Kanye ‘Ye” West spoke out about his impact. During Comb’s speech, he praised his mother. He thanked her for all she had done for him.
Without her, by his side, he would not have made it, as reported by Afrotech. I must add, that Ms.Janice Combs looked radiant. In addition, Combs thanked the late music mogul Andre Harrell.
Especially since Harrell gave Combs his start in the music business. In fact, Harrell hired Combs as his assistant. The rest is history, so to speak.
Having said this, Combs plans to give $1 million to Howard University. Also, he is giving $1 million to Jackson State University.
Which by the way, is the University where football legend Dion Sanders is the coach. In his own words, Combs said, “When you, ve been blessed, it’s only right to return the favor to others.”
