50 Cent Signs Non-Exclusive Deal With Fox Network

50 Cent Signs Non-Exclusive Deal With Fox Network. The rapper entered into a non-exclusive deal. This means Curtis Jackson will develop scripted dramas.

What Does This Deal Mean For Fifty And Fox?

50 Cent Signs Non-Exclusive Deal With Fox Network. Fox is collaborating with Jackson to create live-action comedies and animated series. G-Unit Film & Television, Jackson’s production company will do new projects.

Fox Entertainment’s president of programming Michael Thorn shared the news on Tuesday. Here is some of what he said,

“Whether it’s music, film, or television, Curtis always delivers premium entertainment that captivates millions of fans across the globe,” said Thorn. “He is the rare multi-hyphenate with a deft hand at storytelling, no matter the format or medium, and we’re looking forward to developing new and exciting series for Fox with him and his team.”

Jackson has already been very successful in Television, as reported by Variety. His production company G-Unit created “The Power Series” and “Black Mafia.” Therefore, Jackson is an asset to Fox.

Not to mention, Jackson is working on developing “Fightland”, and “Queen Nzinga” at Starz’s Network. In addition, Jackson is working on creating motion pictures.

Clearly, Jackson has expanded his portfolio. According to Complex, Jackson said,

“I am excited to formalize a partnership with Michael Thorn and Fox that will allow G-Unit Film & Television to focus on putting multiple series on Fox, a perfect broadcast destination for G-Unit Film & Television content while our premium, streaming, scripted and non-scripted slates continue to grow in all directions.”

As a result of this new deal, Jackson will be able to shop his production services elsewhere.  It has been a long successful ride for Jackson.

Certainly, Jackson could not have imagined such great success. This Queens New Yorker was once an up-and-coming rapper. Who many thought would not make it. But Jackson’s tenacity caused him to power forward.

In due time, Jackson made his mark in hip-hop. Fast forward, to Jackson making history in TV and production. Some of Jackson’s hit songs include “In Da Club”, “Many Men” and “Candy Shop.”

Additionally, Jackson starred in “Get Rich or Die Tryin.” I can’t wait to see what Jackson will create with Fox.
