Nicki Minaj is beyond thrilled to let her fans know about her upcoming adventure. The 37-year old Super Bass rapper is scheduled to showcase her very own personal story. Announcing a 6-part docuseries about her life, Nicki will be streaming on HBO Max.
Nicki Minaj Makes Announcement On 10th Anniversary Of “Pink Friday”
Nicki Minaj, real name Onika Tanya Maraj, makes a big announcement on the 10th anniversary of “Pink Friday.” Recently becoming a new momma to a baby boy, Minaj is ready to give a personal glimpse into her life.
A new documentary series will soon be available to stream. Promising big things on her new project, Minaj is sharing the news via her Instagram social media page, posting the following –
“I am beyond grateful & excited to share this news with you guys today…I couldn’t be more thrilled to have #HBOMAX on board to help me tell my story in this delicate & memorable way. A way that my fans will love forever. This doc is next level. I can promise you that.”
According to Popsugar, Nicki also shared –
“I am very excited to finally share with you guys that my docuseries is coming to HBO Max! It’s gonna give you a guys a raw, unfiltered look at my personal life and my professional journey,” Minaj said. “I can’t wait to share it with you.”
“An All-Access Glimpse At One Of The Most Iconic Musicians Of Our Generation”
All her fans share in her excitement, I’m sure. As reported by The Source, the series is set in half-hour episodes that “will explore Nicki’s brilliantly creative mind and tell the story of her personal and professional journey.”
Directed by Michael John Warren, a press release from Warren states –
“I love that this series not only provides an all-access glimpse at one of the most iconic musicians of our generation; it also profiles the brave woman behind the artist, Onika…It’s an honor to be entrusted with this dynamic story.”
So far, there is no release date or title for this docuseries. Stay tuned.
