From dates with Drake, Ted Talks, and hot takes, Winnie Harlow is trending and we love to see it! Chantelle Whitney Brown-Young (born July 27, 1994), also known as Winnie Harlow, is a Jamaican-Canadian fashion model and public spokesperson on the skin condition of vitiligo. She became well known in 2014 after competing on the 21st season of America’s Next Top Model.

Winnie Harlow – The Model

Chantelle Brown-Young was born Winnie Harlow on July 27, 1994, in the Greater Toronto Area. She is the daughter of Lisa Brown and Windsor Young. Her parents are of Jamaican ancestry and she has two sisters. Four years ago, she was diagnosed with vitiligo, a chronic skin condition characterized by depigmentation of parts of the skin.

As a child, Harlow was bullied by other children and was called a “cow, a zebra, and other disparaging terms” by both black and white students. She dropped out of high school after being verbally harassed numerous times and considering suicide as a result.
