Janet Jackson Doc Peaks Behind The Scenes In ‘Family First‘
Janet Jackson documentary coming to A&E and Lifetime.
The title is ‘Family First’ and will give fans a sneak peek behind the scenes of her upcoming 2023 ‘Together Again‘ tour.
Included in the footage are Janet’s efforts to bring the Jackson family band back together.
If that endeavor pans out, it will be the first time in 40 years that the brothers have reunited in music as a group.
Of course, she will be enlisting the help of her brother Randy, they are super close.
Speaking on the project, the 56-year-old icon says –
“I am excited to continue to share my story, and welcome fans into my life and the ‘Together Again’ tour. Thank you for your never-ending support, and I hope you enjoy the next chapter.”
Additionally, Randy has something to say about it, adding –
“In this next chapter in the documentary, Janet and I are thrilled to welcome viewers on the road with us as we embark on the ‘Together Again’ tour, celebrating the milestone of 50 years of Janet’s career with fans across the country. We look forward to the continued partnership with Lifetime and A&E, and to sharing our family with viewers.”
Janet announced her tour back in December.
Together Again is her first scheduled tour in four years.
This time around, she’s being joined on the North American tour by Ludacris.
Taking to social media, she makes the announcement to the delight of all her fans, posting –
“I’m going back on tour and yes we will be together again very, very soon,” Jackson said in an Instagram video on Monday. “I miss you guys so much and I can’t wait to see you. Our opening show is April 14 in Hollywood, Florida. I’m so excited.”
Surely her fans are just as excited.

Janet’s opened up in her first documentary back in January on Lifetime and A&E, and it was a huge hit.
