Polo G Drops New Single. Lately, things have been kind of quiet for Chicago rapper Polo G. Until now that is. His new single Distraction hit airwaves yesterday.

Polo G Drops New Single. Certainly, the drill rapper knows how to deliver. Seemingly, he kept a pretty low profile after releasing the deluxe version of  his Hall of Fame album.

Well, the wait is over for his fan base. This new single and music video rings true to Polo Gs’ style.

Per usual, he draws inspiration from his own person experiences. All the while telling a story.

To no surprise, Southside produced the record.

Initially, PG took to instagram to announce the new record.

“1st Single Back inna min This just me warning up I’m bout to Really Take ova.”

Furthermore, it’s quite obvious to Polo that some folks doubt his musical talent.

But with over 2 million views on YouTube, Distraction is already making traction.

Here’s the chorus:

“How I go so hard, they still discredit my talent. Took shit too far, now they regretting what happened. Hard for my mama to accept I’m a savage. You play, I’m letting you have it. Them shots let off, that’s too much blood for a napkin. They claim we locked in, what if I wasn’t rapping?
