Doja Cat Will Rap On Her Next Album. Certainly, the pop star created buzz about her status as a rapper. Now, she’s ready to deliver mostly bars on the next album.

Doja Cat Will Rap On Her Next Album. As you may know, people have mixed feelings on rather or not Doja’s a rapper.

Importantly, her most recent Planet Her album shot up the charts. Additionally, the lead single Kiss Me More earned her a Grammy.

Of course, this solidifies her as a singer. But does she have bars?

Earlier this year, Remy Ma made it clear she doesn’t see Doja as a rapper. Remy explained:

“They put her in the rapper category, I don’t think she’s a rapper. But she makes dope records, and I think she’s dope.”

Well, to further commemorate her own abilities, Doja confirmed to Elle magazine she plans to rap on her next album.

During the Elle interview, she had this to say:

“I’ve rapped since the beginning, and I really couldn’t even sing that well to begin with. I got a lot better.”

Future Body Of Work

According to HipHopDX, the Need To Know singer is fully aware of the rapper debates. She continues to say:

“I use my voice as a tool to create these worlds, and it’s fine if people think that I can’t rap.”

However, there’s no timeframe on when we’ll get this new body of work.

Unfortunately, the Los Angeles songstress is still recovering from surgery on her tonsils.

Apparently, too much vaping coupled with an infection turned out for the worse. Leading Doja to cancel her upcoming tour.

Who knows when she’ll return to the studio.

But she assured Elle the album is in the works and features production from 9th Wonder.

Supposedly, fans can expect this new body of work to be a double album.

Above all, Doja Cat is coming for everyone who said she couldn’t rap. While continuing to dominate.
