Chris Brown claims he is banned from awards shows. He even singles out the BET Awards as one of the shows he is not allowed to perform.

Is Chris Brown banned from awards shows?

According to the R&B superstar, that is his claim.

During an Instagram video, the 33-year-old singer/songwriter/dancer/actor made the revelation.

During an appearance at his New Mexico concert, he shared a post, and captioned it –

“YOU SEE THE PEOPLE??? EVERY SHOW IS PACKED LIKE THIS,” he wrote in his caption. “IF IT WASNT FOR MY INCREDIBLE FANS I WOULD’VE BEEN QUIT… I don’t like the fake celebrity SHIT…”

Additionally, Breezy said he hadn’t been booked for an awards show appearance in years.

Although he has sold out numerous shows.

Christopher Maurice Brown has this to say about the award shows –

““AWARD SHOWs HAVENT let me perform in years… yet my shows STILL SELL OUT. LET ME BE GREAT…”

Even the BET Awards won’t let him perform, according to a response from Chris to someone in the comment section who asked the question.

The last time Chris performed for BET was in 2017.

But that’s not to say he hasn’t been happily giving his fans something to cheer about.

Right now he is promoting his latest project, the BREEZY album came out this year.

You can catch him right now as he is co-headlining with Lil Baby on his One Of Them Ones Tour.

But you don’t have much time, the tour ends at the end of this month.
