Rapper Tekashi 69 Faces 3 Month Sentence

Rapper Tekashi 69 Faces 3 Month Sentence. Tekashi 69, the controversial rapper known for his rainbow-colored hair and distinctive facial tattoos, has once again found himself in legal trouble. After a string of legal issues that have plagued his career, he was recently sentenced to three months in prison for violating his probation. The news of his prison sentence does not bother Tekashi; he has accepted the judge’s verdict.

Tekashi 69’s Legal Woes

Rapper Tekashi 69 Faces 3 Month Sentence.

Daniel Hernandez has been no stranger to legal trouble. Over the years, he has faced numerous charges ranging from assault to firearms offenses.

The rapper’s troubles began in 2018 when he was arrested on racketeering and firearms charges. After Tekashi cooperated with the police, several of his associates were arrested.

He was sentenced to two years in prison in 2019. Despite Tekashi being released on probation, his trouble did not end.

Since being home, Tekashi has gotten himself in hot water. According to TMZ, Tekashi will serve 3 months in prison after the judge handed down his verdict.

Sentenced To 3 Months

Tekashi admits the judge gave him a fair sentence. And, he is looking forward to working out while he is in prison.

He admits he has gained considerable weight. But, he is confident that the weight will come off while he is behind bars.

The New York rapper caught a big break, especially since prosecutors want to give him more time. His prison report is scheduled for January 6, 2026.

Obviously, the judge did not throw the book at Tekashi. At this point, Tekashi should be grateful he can rebuild his career without delays.

That is, after he does his prison time. Additionally, Tekashi may not be in the general population but instead be in a protective environment.

In case you forgot, Tekashi has been labeled a “rat.” It was back in 2019 that Tekashi turned state’s evidence and testified against his crew.

A federal racketeering case against the rapper and “Nine Trey Gangsta’s” started his downfall. While most of the others received long sentences, Tekashi did not.

His willingness to become a state witness saved him. As a result of his cooperation with the Feds, he received a plea agreement.

Controversy Surrounding the Rapper’s Case

There is some controversy surrounding Tekashi 69’s 3-month sentence. As we mentioned earlier, prosecutors wanted considerably more time for Tekashi.

However, the judge disagreed, thus Tekashi got less time. Needless to say, Tekashi was excited for the shorter sentence.

He was celebrating the news on social media. Nevertheless, Tekashi continues to stay in the public eye.

Time and time again, Tekashi keeps running afoul of the law. We can’t help but wonder if his luck will run out eventually.

After all, how many times is he going to violate his probation without harsh punishment?

Regardless of his sentencing, the rapper remains determined to continue pursuing his music career. Only time will tell whether he can overcome this latest obstacle.

And reclaim his status as one of the most controversial figures in the music industry.
