Mac Critter Arrested In Memphis Tennessee After A Shooting Incident In December

Mac Critter was arrested for murder in the first degree.

Stemming from a shooting that went down on December  21st, the Memphis-based rapper is one of three men arrested.

The incident left one man dead.

The fatal shooting happened in a vacant lot in North Memphis.

Gucci Mane signed the artist – real name Daniel Bates – to his 1017 imprint just two months before the shooting.

Critter was officially charged with the crime on December 29th.

Since his arrest, he has been sitting in a jail cell in Shelby County.

The other two arrested are Gary Taylor and Danterio Owens.

Bates’ attorney, Arthur Horne, expressed shock upon learning that his client would not get bond, stating –

“I thought that my client would have gotten a bond.”

“It’s alleged, in the affidavit, that he was there but he is not the shooter. When Gary Taylor got bond, he was the alleged shooter. I was optimistic that we were going to get bond today but we didn’t.”

All suspects are currently remaining behind bars.

According to his social media page, he is sending a message to his fans.

A post appeared that read –

“Mac said he will be home real soon some small to [a] giant. He wanna thank all his fans for supporting him from day1!!!”

January 10th is the date set or all three suspects to face the charges in court.
