Judge Brown Discusses Monique’s Lawsuit W CBS. Monique is suing for royalties allegedly owed to her. Evidently, Monique wants her fair share.

Monique & Judge Brown Blast CBS

Judge Brown Discusses Monique’s Lawsuit W CBS. James Blakeney Brown Jr. graduated from UCLA Law School in 1973. It was the height of the Civil Rights Movement.

As stated by AAE, he became the first African American prosecutor in Memphis. From then on, Judge Brown was known as a hard-nosed litigator.

In his words, Judge Brown said,

“I don’t sentence anyone the conventional way if I can think of a better way to get their attention, that is what I will do.”

More importantly, Judge Brown knows firsthand the plight of injustice in the United States. That is why he endeavors to make a difference for others.

This is a lesson Judge Brown admits he learned from his parents.

His upbringing in South Central LA prepared him, as stated by All American Speakers.

Here’s something you may not know about Judge Brown. Judge Brown was assigned to e-opened James Earl Ray’s case.

Ray was the convicted killer of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Despite Ray being white, Judge Brown hoped to get Ray’s conviction overturned.

Brown claimed Ray might have been set up. But Judge Brown’s efforts to exonerate Ray failed.

Prosecutor John Campbel contended that Judge Brown “has lost his impartiality,” as stated by The LA Times.

Therefore, Judge Brown was removed from Ray’s case. Of course, we don’t know if Ray was set up.

Nor do we know if there was some conspiracy against Ray.

James Earl Ray eventually died due to allegedly complications of liver disease.

Judge Brown Provides Inside Info On CBS

I can almost hear you thinking, what does that have to do with Monique?

Well, first off, Judge Brown worked for Viacom. Viacom is the parent company of CBS.

Perhaps, he has some inside information. Not only that, Judge Brown has echoed what Monique is claiming.

In his interview with hosts O’God and Sam Ant, Judge Brown blasted CBS.

Monique’s lawsuit with Paramount and CBS was discussed.

Judge Brown claims he was allegedly cheated out of millions. So, he can understand why Monique is suing CBS.

AfroTech reports the comedian filed a breach of contract lawsuit in Los Angeles. She alleges that Paramount and CBS withheld her royalties from “The Parker.”

Furthermore, Monique said,

“Today [April 12], we filed a lawsuit to make sure that we are fairly paid money that we are owed for ‘The Parkers,’” Mo’Nique shared in a post on Instagram. “Actors rely on the good faith of Hollywood companies to honor their profit participation agreements.”

The Parkers continue to generate revenue even after going into syndication. According to Monique,

“To further make my point, the executive producers of ‘The Parkers’ took legal action for the same concerns that I have, and they’ve already settled. Unfortunately, all too often, talent gets kept in the dark. We’re looking forward to shedding some light on the subject.”

In light of this, Monique wants her fair share. After hearing what Monique is going through, Judge Brown shares his thoughts.

I think you will agree that Monique and Judge Brown should be paid. That is if the allegations against CBS are true.

Nevertheless, both Monique and Judge Brown have to prove the allegations.

Judge Brown has yet to file a lawsuit against his former employer. Having said this, Judge Brown had no issue throwing CBS under the bus.

In other words, Judge Brown had some harsh words for CBS.

Generally speaking, Judge Brown’s interview was lit.

To sum it up, CBS has some explaining to do.

What say you?
