Did Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty Get Hitched? The couple marched into a Beverly Hills courthouse earlier this week and got a marriage license, as reported by TMZ.
“I Think I Have What I Was Striving For, Just Happiness”
According to Minaj’s Instagram, the couple has been dating since December of last year. But, the big day may be very near, if it hasn’t already happened.
As revealed on her new Queen Radio show on Apple Beats 1, Nicki Minaj announced that she is about to tie the knot. Nicki said about her and her man –
“We did get our marriage license, I think I have what I was striving for, just happiness. It was so hard to get to a happy place. Now that I’m there, I don’t want to compromise that for anyone or anything.”
Kenneth Petty has appeared with Minaj in her music video Megatron. Now, it looks like he has popped the question and will be giving Nicki his last name. Reportedly, sources close to the couple say that Nicki will be known as Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty.
But did the marriage already take place? Friends of the couple have flown in and out of L.A. earlier this week, that’s a clue. Stay tuned…
