Comedian Godfrey sets the record straight with T.I. Godfrey wanted to clear up some comments he made about T.I. It appears Godfrey’s words were misunderstood. And, he decided to clear the air with the Atlanta rapper.

Beef Between Godfrey And T.I. Was Adverted

First off, Godfrey does not have anything personal against T.I. In fact, Godfrey admits he is a big fan of the rapper. Also, Godfrey felt his words were taken out of content.

Godfrey and T.I. both were performing at an Atlanta club. However, after Godfrey did his set he left. Shortly after, T.I. did his stand-up routine.

Shortly after, Godfrey made some alleged negative comments about T.I.

During his commentary on his podcast “In Godfrey We Trust”, he shared this, “As a headliner, no one is supposed to go up after you”

When T.I. got wind of what Godfrey said, all hell broke loose, as reported by Complex. Or at least it did for T.I. Apparently, T.I. only heard part of Godfrey’s commentary.

And, he ran with it. Surprisingly, Godfrey did not fire back with a barrage of negative words. Instead, Godfrey reached out to T.I. once he heard about him being upset.

Godfrey Apologizes To T.I.

The comedian went live on Hip Hop News Uncensored, with hosts O’God and SamAnt. As Godfrey began to explain himself, it was clear he met no harm.

In fact, Godfrey had spoken to T.I. prior to the interview. More importantly, Godfrey apologized to T.I. Especially, because he wanted T.I. to understand his point of view.

With that being said, it was important for Godfrey to set the record straight with T.I. In my opinion, it was a great idea for Godfrey to reach out to T.I.

Oftentimes when something like this happens it can get really ugly. In this case, Godfrey was more interested in mending fences. so there you have it, Comedian Godfrey sets the record straight with T.I.
