CeeLo Criticizes Cardi N Megan!!!

CeeLo Criticizes Cardi N Megan. Does CeeLo have the right to criticize female rappers? Does he have a point?

Was Cardi and Megan’s video to sexual?

CeeLo criticizes Cardi B N Megan. On August 6, 2020 Cardi and Megan dropped their new song “Wap.” When  Cardi and Megan’s video was aired there were mixed reviews. Although, I have not seen the video some say it is too sexual. Apparently, CeeLo is one of those people who did not like the sexual content as reported by XXL Mag. And, CeeLo had no problem voicing his opinion.

Was Cardi and Megan’s too much for young viewers? Or was CeeLo over- reacting. A question comes to mind when thinking of parental responsibility. Are parents the only ones responsible for what their children see? Or doe music artist bare some of the responsibility, as well?

While CeeLo realizes that Cardi and Megan have a right to display their independence. But what will their right to make sexual explicit music affect our children?  Here is some of what CeeLo shared:

“A lot of music today is very unfortunate and disappointing on a personal and moral level,” he opined. “There was once a time when we were savvy enough to code certain things. We could express to those it was meant for with the style of language we used. But now music is shameless, it is sheer savagery.”

With that said, to what degree should music artist be responsible to present music that is acceptable to young viewers? I am with you CeeLo, where do we draw the line? When I was growing up you needed your parents permission to watch certain things. That is not the case today.
