Diddy Allegedly Calls Ma$e A Fake Pastor
Ma$e And Diddy Are At War. Once upon a time, Diddy and Mase were friends. However, something went wrong. It appears things are getting worst. Now, we hear Diddy say Ma$e owes him $3 million.
Of course, this is news to our ears. When their beef began money was not an issue. Or at least, that is what we all thought. Diddy visited “The Breakfast Club” on Oct. 5th.
During his conversation with the hosts (Charlamagne, DJ Envy, Angela Ye) he addressed some stuff. He claims he does not owe any artist money.
In fact, Diddy allegedly asked his former artists to produce receipts. Furthermore, Diddy claims he does not owe Ma$e any money. Here is some of what he said,
“Just in general, the Ma$e thing. I did one album with Ma$e. One album. How much money do you think I owe this guy,” Puff said at the 46-minute mark of the sit-down in reference to Ma$e’s debut 1997 album Harlem World. “And then he became a fake pastor and went and conned people. And y’all gon’ let him throw dirt on the god’s name. Anybody can come and step up. Bring your receipts. But I’m not playing. I’m back outside and I’m fighting back for us. And I’m also doing some fighting back for me.”
He was referencing Ma$e’s 1997 album ” Harlem World.” According to XXL Mag, Ma$e did two other albums(Welcome Back, Double Up) with BadBoy Records. But that does not negate Diddy’s claims.
Nevertheless, Diddy went on to say Ma$e owes him $3m. Allegedly Ma$e was given an advance. Not only that, Diddy allegedly called Ma$e a “fake Pastor.”
Keep in mind, Ma$e is not the only former BadBoy artist suggesting Diddy did not pay them. Other complaints from Freddy P of “Making the Band” are public knowledge.
Freddy P allegedly claims Diddy destroyed his career. Be that as it may, when Ma$e heard Diddy’s interview he blasted him.
Ma$e Claps Back At Diddy
On Instagram, Ma$e mentioned why Diddy was upset. Apparently, Ma$e did not accept Diddy’s apology. Ma$e claims all the other artists are dead. They can’t produce any receipts.
He mentioned Biggie Smalls, Craig Mack, and Black Rob, as reported by Hip Hop DX. Has Diddy cheated his former BadBoy artist or not? That seems to be the issue.
Furthermore, does Diddy’s mom control his assets? Did Diddy have some of his artist sign paperwork? According to Ma$e, he is the only one not afraid to expose Diddy.
Having said this, the war between Diddy and Ma$e seems to never end. I wonder if they can ever make amends. Money issues between friends do end friendships.
Truly, I believe everyone there could be some truth. Why would his artists feel they were cheated? Something is not right with this picture. What do you all think?
