Romeo Rap Snacks. Rap snacks have slowly become well-known in the Hip Hop community. Often found in inner-city stores and bodegas.
Started From The Bottom
Romeo Rap Snacks. Since its inception, Rap Snacks have grown in popularity. In 1994 James “Fly” Lindsay introduced Rap Snacks in select markets.
It all started with Lindsay mixing his favorite chips together. Something about the concoction drove him to create his own flavors.
After a hefty loan from his trusted loved ones, Rap Snacks made its way into inner-city stores.
No Limit CEO and rapper Master P co-founded. That makes this brand a first of its kind. Paying homage to countless mainstream rappers is their signature
At this point, James and Millers’ business venture became like a marriage between them and the rap business.
Lil’ Romeo-inspired Bar-B-Quin With My Honey flavor was arguably the best flavor.
Fly was quite confident in his snack business. But over time, the business would experience some financial hardships.
Miller Time
Following a career in the music industry, Fly Lindsay had a chance to revamp the brand.
Rap Snacks would continue to use rappers as the face of the brand.
Master P seemingly took on more of the marketing responsibility.
Eventually, he brought Snoop Dogg on board as a brand ambassador.
But the famous Bar-B- Quin‘ With My Honey remains a fan fave. As a result, this honey bbq flavor still proves to hold a top-three spot among other Rap Snacks.
Romeo Miller slowly became the most important face of the brand.
Currently, these chips can be found in most gas stations and bodegas.
For a brand that started out in just 3-4 locations, that’s a big deal.
Master P and Romeo continue to carry the brand via marketing. Utilizing social media as a means to reach the masses.
Without a doubt, Master P is still winning with no limits.
