Nick Cannon Speaks On His Inspiration For Making Music
Nick Cannon is living through a lot of changes in his life of late.
From super-low points in the death of his son, Zen.
To emotional highs, in the recent announcement of his 8th child.
Now, the comedian, actor, rapper, and television personality is proud of the new project he’s added to his resume.
Weekend Girl is the first single to be released for his soon-to-drop mixtape.
Other comments Cannon has made about this music career –
“…music has always been a place of therapy for me.”
“I make music because I love it, because it’s a passion.”
“You know, hopefully, it’s received well, but I’m doing this for me.”
Even though Nick says he first arrived on the music scene in a sought of bubble-gummy style.
He has evolved, and just taking a look at his explicit song titles can attest to that.
Incidentally, Cannon is already speaking about his ‘next’ album, which he hopes to drop in the summer.
While the mixtape has been a lot of growth for Nick, he says his next album will more deeply reflect what he’s gone through over the last six months.
