NFL Player Demaryius Thomas Was Found Dead!!!
Last week retired NFL player Demaryius Thomas was found dead. Thomas was the former wide receiver for the Detriot Lions and Denver Broncos. The unofficial cause of death was allegedly by seizure.
The Denver Broncos Honor Demaryius At Games Open Sunday
Thomas played 10 NFL seasons from 2010 to 2019. He spent 9 years with the Broncos. Also, Thomas won Super Bowl 50 with the Broncos in 2016, as reported by USA Today. Thomas will go down as one of the greatest players. Especially, since, Thomas caught ball that caused the Broncos to win. It was one of the greatest plays in Super Bowl history.
Thomas former team honored him on the field at last Sunday’s game. The Broncos gave a statement which said,
“We are devastated and completely heartbroken by the sudden, tragic passing of Demaryius Thomas. D.T. was beloved by our entire organization, his teammates and coaches, and our fans. Recently, retiring as a Bronco, we were very much looking forward to celebrating Demaryius for years to come as one of the greatest players in franchise history.”
With that being said, the family of Thomas mentioned that he had been suffering from seizures for over a year. Unfortunately, Thomas has lost his battle. We send our heartfelt prayers to his family, friends, and former NFL family.
