XXXTentacion Surpasses Drake On Spotify!!!!

XXXTentacion is now the most-streamed hip-hop artist in Spotify history. This after surpassing Drake’s ‘Scorpion’.

XXXTentacion Is Now The Most Streamed Hip Hop Artist On Spotify

XXXTentacion (real name Jahsey Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy) is still breaking records.

It’s been almost 4 years after his passing, and he is as popular as ever.

His sophomore effort, simply titled with a question mark, has surpassed Drake on Spotify.

Now holding the title of most streams by a hip-hop artist.

Just a few months ago, Drake’s 2018 ‘Scorpion‘ was ahead of X’s ? by a billion streams.

Fast forward to today, and ? is now on top of the heap, as posted by chart data.

As of today ? has more than 7.884 billion streams to its credit.

Incidentally, Drake is not far behind at 7.883.

According to Billboard, ? was X’s 1st no. 1 album on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

With 131,000 total units, 106,000 were streaming equivalent units.

Additionally, the album included the late rapper’s 1st and only no. 1 single, “SAD!”.

Only 3 months after topping both Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart and 200 albums charts on Billboard, XXXtentacion was killed.

At the tender age of 20.

Look out for a documentary, titled “Look at Me!” about the life of this young rapper.

It’s slated to premiere at the 2022  SXSW Film Festival.
