Donell Jones Grateful, Says He Learned A Valuable Lesson After Incident In Car

Donell Jones says he is grateful after an incident in his car recently.

The 49-year-old R&B crooner took to social media to let fans know about it.

Apparently, the singer/songwriter/record producer was tired but chose to go behind the wheel anyway.

Sharing a photo on his Instagram page, his car is wedged in a deep ditch.

However, he came out unscathed.

Grateful for the positive outcome, he knows it could have been a much more serious encounter.

He shared this message –

“I fell asleep while driving yeserday and ended up in a ditch. I walk away with no injuries, but I learned a valuable lesson, That if you’re tired just park the car cause this could’ve been bad…. I know that I am truly protected but I needed this experience….”

Adding to his comment, he gave all honor to God, posting –

“… Thank you God for wrapping your arms around me as you have always done… My love and loyalty is to you.. ????.”

Of course, the “Knock Me Off My Feet” artist was met with love and support for his ordeal from fans and fellow artists alike.

Fans got to see Jones last month in Gary, Indiana, as he was part of the Femme It Forward’s Serenade Series.

Performing alongside Eric Benet, he lit up the stage to the delight of fans.

Other performers include Boyz II Men, Johnny Gill, Ralph Tresvant, Morris Day, Musiq Soulchild, Ty Dolla $ign, Ne-Yo, and many more.

We are hoping for more electrifying performances from him in the future.
