Wallo267 and Meek Mill have had difficult experiences with the justice system. They have made it their mission to help reform a broken system.

The clemency reform is being implemented in this new venture with Governor Phil Murphy. This initiative will give former prisoners a second chance.

As we all know, Rihmeek Williams has been open about his struggles with the criminal justice system.  His partnership with rapper Jay-Z headed the Criminal Reform Initiative.

As a result, the CRI has been instrumental in helping repeat offenders stay out of trouble with the law. The organization has also lobbied for legislative changes within the criminal justice system.

Robert Kraft (NFL Patriots Owner) and Michael Rubin (former 76ers Co-Owner) are working with Meek.

Meek clearly believes in the clemency process in New Jersey. According to ABC News 6, the ceremony occurred at the St. James AME Church in Newark. Governor Murphy signed Executive Order 362 into action.

Executive Order 362 creates a new clemency board that expedites pardons. At the same time, EO362 commutes sentences in the State of New Jersey.

During the ceremony Gov. Murphy said,

“Today in our nation there are generations of families that have been torn apart by a broken criminal justice system that, for too long, has prioritized excessive punishment over healing and rehab,”

Those who will benefit from this executive order include people who committed crimes before 25. In addition, victims of sexual violence who committed crimes against their perpetrators will be helped.

Celebrities Join Efforts To Push for Criminal Justice Reform

Wallo 267, a former inmate turned motivational speaker, has also been a staunch advocate for criminal justice reform. He has used his platform to highlight the injustices individuals face within the system.

He is also, calling for more transparency and fairness in the clemency process. Together, Meek Mill and Wallo 267 are working to raise awareness of the need for reform.

They also push for concrete changes that will improve the lives of those affected. With their prominent following and influential voices, they bring attention to important issues and advocate for change on a national level.

By leveraging their platforms, these celebrities can amplify the voices of those directly impacted by the system’s injustices.

Their efforts to push for clemency reform in New Jersey are just one part of a more significant movement towards fairer and more just laws and policies.

As more celebrities join the fight, the momentum for reform continues to grow. Making it increasingly difficult for lawmakers to ignore the calls for change.

We applaud their efforts for equality with criminal justice reform.
