Monique Cast As ‘Goldie’ In BMF!!!

Monique just snagged a role in 50 Cent’s BMF series on Starz. And fans couldn’t be more excited about the turn of events.

Monique Joins BMF For Season 2

Monique is back!

After Monique Angela Hicks, known professionally by just her first name, spent the better part of the last few years expressing her disdain for Hollywood, she’s back.

Claiming she was blackballed, the 56-year-old actress/comedian/author began to name names, and she didn’t hold back.

Big names in the industry were called out, namely Lee Daniels, Oprah Winfrey, and Tyler Perry.

Though there is no movement on where she stands with Winfrey and Perry, she recently made news with Daniels.

She reconciled with Lee Daniels, as he gave her a public apology on stage, and their long-time feud was ended.

Fast forward to today, and 50 Cent gave Monique a coveted role on his STARZ series, BMF.

She is playing the character “Goldie”, and she is appearing on the second season of the series.

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson took to social media to break the news.

In the clip below, you see Monique looking directly into the camera, introducing her character, saying (with a wink) –

“My name is Goldie…you know who the f*ck I am.”

Already in production, when exactly the second season of BMF will air is unknown.

As you know, 50 Cent is currently beefing with the network, which may have led to the cancellation of Murder Was The Case, a show he was aiming to do with Snoop Dogg.

It was scrapped by STARZ late last month.

But perhaps they are working things out, and BMF is still in production.

As for her acting career, Monique is also cast as Emma Leeden in The Reading, it’s currently in post-production.

Will you be watching Monique on BMF?
