SWV & Xscape Land Reality TV Show!!!!! 90’s R&B groups SWV and Xscape have landed a reality tv show. The show will be a docuseries about the groups reigniting their music careers and their personal lives.
SWV: From The Beginning!!!!!
SWV (Sisters With Voices), is a group out of NYC that was one of the most successful groups of the 90s. They have hit such as Right Here (Human Nature Remix), I’m So Into You, and my all time favorite, Weak. They have sold more than 25 million records making them one of the best selling groups of all time.
Fun Fact: They were nominated for a Grammy in 1997
Xscape: From The Beginning!!!!!
Xscape is a group out of Atlanta that was also one of the most successful groups of the 90s. They have hots such as, Understanding, Just Kickin’ It, and my all time favorite, Tonight. They have sold more than 7 million records.
Fun Fact: Xscape won an ASCAP Award in 2018
SWV and Xscape: New Bravo TV Reality TV Show!!!!!
According to vibe.com, Maintaining the momentum from their Versus battle, the groups will be headed to Bravo for aa reality tv series.
First, the show will be called “Xscape/SWV” and will be produced by Mona Scott-Young of Love and Hip Hop fame.
The high stakes limited that will delve into their lives as they navigate their professional and personal lives.
Second, Xscape most recently reunited at Mary J. Blige’s, “Strength Of A Woman” Festival and Summit on May 7.
As a result, The multi-part reality series was greenlit on Thursday May 12 and is set to premiere this winter.
Lastly, their is no set premiere date, but we will bring you a date as it becomes available.
In conclusion, with me being an 80s/90s baby, I am so excited to see some of my favorite groups on a reality show, as well as them prospering in their musical and personal lives.
