And what a remarkable resurgence we are witnessing.

In fact, the duo is recognized as having “the longest climb to #1 in U.S. radio history.”

According to Luminate, the track received more than 81 million radio airplay audience impressions.

Additionally, it receives 32.4 million streaming, up 181%, and 14,000 sales, up 1,170%.

All this occurs during the week ending March 2nd.

33-year-old The Weeknd – real name Abel Makkonen Tesfaye – is pretty hot right about now.

Recently, he broke Bieber’s record and became the first artist in Spotify history to reach 100 million monthly listeners.

That’s quite a feat.

Joining up with 29-year-old Ariana for this latest success is just icing on the cake.
