Well, this years BET Awards gave everyone a chance to see just how important the song is for the culture.

Initially, she announced on Twitter she’d be performing at the BET Awards.

“I’m performing at the @BETAwards tonight!!!!!!!! AHHHHH”

Naturally, Latto graced the stage looking stunning and energetic. So, she began her short set by performing It’s Givin’. Next, Latto got into Big Energy.

Latto Brings Out Special Guests

Of course, she’d be remiss not to commemorate the sampling of Mariah Carey and ODBs Fantasy. Thus, she brought out Ol Dirty Bastards’ son Young Dirty Bastard to deliver his verse.

However, the highlight of the performance was Mariah Carey gracing us with her presence.

Unsurprisingly, MiMi came, saw, and conquered. The queen of octaves still has it!

Following the performance, Miss Latto gave the songstress her flowers. Literally! We love to see it.

Ultimately, the Rap Game season one winner bridged the generational gap. Certainly, this iconic performance will go down in history.
