That song was released on his album “Cradle 2 the Grave.” Also, Simmons wrote and produced this song.
Also, it was his most successful international single, as reported by Wiki. In addition, the song resurged after the movie “Deadpool.”
To top it off, it was top of the charts in 2017. Some sports teams such as the San Diego Padres used it as theme music.
Even today, a lot of his popular songs are played on radio. And, clubs still celebrate Simmons music.
Not to mention, “X Gon Give it to Ya” was used in a Chex cereal commercial. Needless to say, Simmons is truly missed.
He will forever be one of greatest MC’s of all time. Having said this, Earl”DMX”Simmons gave us some very memorable songs.
One of my favorite songs “Party Up (Up in Here), was released in 1999. At it’s peek it was No. 27 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Additionally, it charted for 21 weeks. Producer Swizz Beatz helped Simmons create a huge hit.
Then There Was X, was his greatest solo song in the U.S. Clearly, Simmons made an indelible mark on hip-hop music.
