Will Smith Takes Over “Red Table Talk.” Normally, Jada, Willow and her mother Adrienne host.

However, Smith wanted to share his experience with his three children. So, Tre, Jaden and Willow joined him for the discussion.

I watched a portion of the show. It was really interesting, to say the least. Smith’s adult children talked about his portrayal in “Emancipation.”

Emancipation is live streaming. Anton Fuqua is the director of the movie. And, it was an Apple TV production.

Needless to say, the discussion was riveting. As Smith shared his experience each responded.

Furthermore, Smith talked about the importance of seeing the movie. In Emancipation, Smith stars as Peter, a Haitian slave.

Peter escapes from a planation in Louisiana. According to USA Today, the story of Peter’s life went viral.

In fact, it was in 1863 his story came to life. Primarily, when a photo of Peter’s lacerated back was taken.

Afterwards, Peter was known as “The Scourged Back” photo. His horrific ordeal galvanized the North to fight much harder for Slavery to end.

Director Fuqua was able to bring to life a very important story. Not to mention, Smith is getting rave reviews for his acting prowess.

Now, I am really looking forward to seeing the film.
