Lil Wayne Met With President Trump. Election is tomorrow. And, over the weekend we found out Lil Wayne aligns with Trump.
What did Trump say to Lil Wayne?
Lil Wayne met with President Trump. Rapper Lil Wayne took to social media. It appears that Lil Wayne is standing with Trump’s policies on the “Platinum Plan.” Some people are upset with Lil Wayne about his meeting with Trump.
In fact, some of his fans want him cancelled. Of course, it is not possible to cancel Lil Wayne. However, Lil Wayne will probably lose some of his fans. Equally important, is Lil Wayne seems to believe Trump has and will make a difference in the Black community, as reported by USA Today. Especially, as it relates to this so called” Platinum Plan.”
Having said this, there are some who are in favor of the new reform plan Trump is proposing. I find it interesting that people have forgotten that Trump was originally a Democrat. So, my question is does Trump still secretly have the same views as Democrats. I’m just saying. Be that as it may let’s take a look at what Lil Wayne said on Twitter;
“Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done.”
Although, Lil Wayne did not mention he was voting for Trump’s re – election. It is certainly a clear indication Lil Wayne was sold on Trumps ideas. Some of the comments that followed Lil Wayne’s meeting with Trump were interesting, as well.
For instance, political commentator Michael Knowles said,” Rappers are now Republicans. What a time to be alive.” But rapper Curtis Jackson aka 50 Cent tweeted “I would have never took this picture.” One thing is for sure, who ever is elected as president tomorrow will have to prove a lot to voters.
