Is Meek Mill Alleged Marijuana Use Leading To Depression?!?!?
Philadelphia rapper Rameek Williams aka Meek Mill, talks about drug use. During his interview on the Million Dollaz podcast. Williams spoke with hosts Wallo267 and Gillie Da King.
What Is Meek Trying To Say?
Meek is back from his hiatus from social media. And, it sounds like he wants to get something off his chest. However, what Meek shared tweeted is a little disturbing, in my opinion. On Saturday, Meek spoke about his alleged marijuana use. I am sure is this was a cry for help or not? On the one hand, he mentioned he gets depressed. But when he is happier when he is sober? Okay, clearly, some fans disagreed with him. And others co-signed.
Either way, Meek may have an issue with depression. If so, he should be seeking counseling instead of smoking weed. Of course, there are so many medicinal benefits from legal marijuana. I can’t say the same about street marijuana. With that said, it is not the first time Meek has made some off-colored statements on social media, as reported by Hip Hop DX. Certainly, it will not be the last. One of his readers made a great analogy,
“Weed is cool and all but it’s got a cult following that refuses to acknowledge the downsides,” “If you smoke every day, but don’t read, workout, or work towards financial freedom then maybe weed is getting in the way, just saying.”
Meek is not the first rapper who believes that smoking weed enhances creativity. I am not an advocate for either smoking weed or not? Although there is some scientific proof that suggests,
“Marijuana also affects brain development. When people begin using marijuana as teenagers, the drug may impair thinking, memory, and learning functions and affect how the brain builds connections between the areas necessary for these functions. Researchers are still studying how long marijuana’s effects last and whether some changes may be permanent, as reported by Drug Abuse.”
Therefore, getting the facts and making an informed decision is very important. Truthfully, Meek may have encouraged some who smoke marijuana/weed to re-think some things. Maybe he is thinking about re-evaluating his alleged use of the drug. What are your thoughts?

In this clip Meek, Wallo and Gillie were having some fun singing over his song. On another note, the Meek album that was released in October 2021 is still doing well. Hopefully, Meek will continue to focus on music. Even though , he has mentioned he may retire in another few years.
