Hip Hop Producer Traxamillion Dead At 43!!!!
Traxamillion is dead at 43. The Bay Area Hip Hop Producer is instrumental in the “Hyphy” sound.
Traxamillion Mourned By Hip Hop Community
Hip Hop Producer Traxamillion (real name Sultan Banks) of San Jose, California has died.
Credited with being instrumental in the hyphy movement, Trax is being mourned in the Hip Hop community.
According to a Twitter post, Thrizzler On The Roof stated –
“Rest In Peace @traxamillion The San Jose producer who helped create the “Hyphy” sound passed away today. this is a huge loss for Northern California We send our condolences to his family & love ones. #RIPTraxamillion.”
Though no cause of death has been revealed as of yet, it appears to have been sudden, as he had recent postings on his social media page.
Credited with being instrumental in the hyphy movement in the Bay Area and beyond, Traxamillion worked with several Hip Hop artists, including –

- City Girls
- Paul Wall
- Yukmouth
- Andre Nickatina
- Mac Dre
- Messy Marv
- Joyner Lucas
- Keak Da Sneak – “Super Hyphy” and “On Citas”

- The Pack – “Club Stuntin”
- Izz Thizz – “Gas, Skrape”
- The Jacka – “From The Hood”
- Dem Hoodstarz – “Grown Man Remix” and many more
Additionally, he perhaps is most remembered for the compilation album he put out titled, “The Slapp Addict” released in 2006, which included several Bay Area artists.
Although he mainly produced, he also had rapping skills.
Traxamillion was 43 years old.
