Young Thug Hit With Gun Charges. It has been a few months since Jeffrey Williams has been jailed. Since that time more charges have surfaced. He was arrested as a result of a grand jury indictment.
There were 28 other members indicted at the time of his arrest. Allegedly, Young Thug was part of a street gang, as reported by Page Six. Some of the charges say he violated the RICO Act.
Of course, he maintains his innocence. However, he is now facing more charges. According to BET, the rapper is being hit with alleged machine gun charges.
This new set of charges stems from an arrest on March 17 and May 9th. So, it appears his trouble is far from being over. Keep in mind, that these are charges that must be proven.
Perhaps, Young Thug can prove his innocence. Especially since there are other people involved in the indictment. Nevertheless, he remains behind bars. Which must be very difficult.
Not to mention, he’s not able to release any new music. I hope his attorneys can come up with a good defense for him. Otherwise, he may be in prison for a long time. As always, we will bring you updates.
