Nipsey Hussle Receives A Great Honor. And, what a great honor it is. He will receive his star on August 15, 2022. Incidentally, it would have been Nipsey’s 37th birthday.
Also, Los Angeles recently named a metro station after him. According to Revolt, Nipsey was chosen along with 38 other names.
Michael Jordan, Michael Strahan, and the hip-hop group Black Eye Peas will all be honored. As we all know, Nipsey was gunned down in front of his beloved clothing store, “Marathon.”
Since then, his family, friends, and fans have grieved him so. This is a great honor for the rapper and community activist.

Nipsey was known for his involvement in the community. Nipsey Hussle worked to prevent gang violence by spearheading an art initiative in his home neighborhood called “Destination Crenshaw.”
And, he launched Vector 9 a learning center dedicated to developing science and technology education. In addition, Nipsey was a celebrated rapper. The hip-hop community was hit hard when he died.
His family was devastated by his untimely death. However, the vowed to keep his legacy going. Actress Lauren London has continued to keep Nipsey’s legacy going.
In my opinion, giving Nipsey a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is a great way to honor him. Especially since Nipsey was known as a community activist.
His dedication to empowering young people is worth celebrating. Not to mention, his contribution to rap was legendary.
