This act of kindness has helped Keefe D secure his release from custody. Duane ‘Keefe De’ Davis was arrested and charged with rapper Tupac’s murder.
According to Complex, Duane was arrested for Tupac’s murder, which was in 1996. Duane was in jail because he had previously been unable to post bail.
When Wack 100 paid Keefe D’s bail, the prosecutors bombarded him with questions. These inquiries were about Wack’s business, 100 ENT, which allegedly posted his bond.
Why Did Wack 100 Pay Suspect Keefe D’s Bail?
Many people have questions about why Wack posted 2Pac suspects; bail? Wack explained to the judge that he had known Keefe D for eight years.
Wack provided this information in a letter read at the hearing: He considers Keefe D to be a good friend.
In addition, Wack allegedly mentions Keefe D does not have to pay him back. It was a gift he gave willingly to his friend.

And rightfully so. However, the judge did not release Keefe D even after his bail was posted. The hearing occurred on June 25, 2024, in Clark County District Court in Nevada.
Judge Carli Kierny heard the prosecutor’s defense present arguments about Keefe D’s release. CBS News reports that Judge Kierny refused to release Keefe D, allegedly based on the source of the bail.
In other words, Wack’s bail bond was in question. The prosecution also argued that Wack was doing this for personal gain.
For those reasons, Keefe D still remains behind bars. We are not sure if Keefe will be released any time soon.
