Russell Simons Must Pay Kimora $100K. At one point Russell and Kimora had a life together. But after the divorce things went sour.

Kimora Wins Bitter Court Case Against Russell

Russell Simons Must Pay Kimora $100K. The court hearing was held on Nov. 13th. A Los Angeles judge granted a motion for attorney’s fees. According to Atlanta Black Star, Russell was ordered to pay her fees.

This all started when Simmons filed a lawsuit against Kimora Lee. He accused Lee and her husband Leissner of taking funds.  Leissner who was an investment banker was facing charges.

Allegedly, Leissner and Lee stole stocks without Simmons’s permission. All of the above were alleged to be involved in Nu Horizons Investment Group. Which holds shares with Celsius Holdings.

Long story short, Simmons accused them both of using the stocks for Leissner’s criminal case. In other words, Leissner and Lee used $4 million to defend him. Well, Simmons was livid.

That is when he filed the lawsuit. However, the judge did not side with Simmons. Lee filed a countersuit to recover legal fees. And, she was successful.

Having said this, Leissner pleads guilty to criminal conspiracy to violate the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. As a result, Leissner was ordered to pay his victims $44 million.

Keep in mind, Lee was well within her rights to take money from Nu Horizons. Especially since Simmons resigned as manager of Nu Horizons in 2018.

Unfortunately, this situation can be problematic for any future dealings. We all thought that Simmons and Lee were good. Clearly, that is not the case. In this case, it is not all well ends well.
