Rapper JayDaYoungan Dead At 24

JayDaYoungan, the popular Louisiana rapper has died.

As reported by TMZ, the young rapper was shot outside his house in Louisiana on Wednesday.

After receiving a call before 6 p.m. that night, cops discovered two victims.

Reports say that one victim was rushed to a local hospital by someone on the scene.

Additionally, a second victim was also hurt and is critically wounded.

That person, who is yet to be named, was treated by paramedics and also taken to the hospital.

JayDaYoungan (real name Javorius Tykies Scott) lost a lot of blood and was rushed into surgery.

However, he has since succumbed to his injuries.

As for the second injured person, reports indicate that it was a relative of the rapper, possibly his father.

Later, a second shooting occurred an hour later, where a vehicle was struck by bullets.

Authorities believe those two incidents could be related.

JayDaYougan signed to Atlantic Records in 2017 and found a steady following since dropping mixtapes.

And he is best known for singles, 23 Island, Elimination, and Opps.

He’s worked with artists such as Latto, Moneybagg Yo, Boosie Badazz, and Lil Durk.

Condolences go out to his family and everyone who knew him.

Jay was only 24 years old.
