Kodak Black Released From Jail After 2 Months

Kodak Black Released From Jail After 2 Months. Kodak Black, the Florida-based rapper known for his unique style and catchy beats, was recently released after serving two months. Kodak Black’s Release from Jail

Kodak Black Released From Jail After 2 Months.

After two months behind bars, Kodak’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, was released. Cohen argued that the lab testing proved that Kodak did not have cocaine.

It was allegedly oxycodone, which Kodak was prescribed by a doctor. According to TMZ, Cohen sent a fiery letter to the Mayor of Plantation, FL, Nick Sortal.

In the letter, Cohen wanted Sortal to his alleged officer’s conduct to be exposed.

He claimed that Kodak’s civil rights were allegedly violated. Having said this, Circuit Court Judge Barbara Duffy ended dropping the oxycodone possession charge, saying the prosecution “could not refute or negate the fact’ that Kodak’s prescription of cocaine and presented lab finding proving otherwise.”

This all started when Kodak was found sleeping on the side of the road. At the time, police allegedly saw a white powder around the rapper’s mouth. That is when he was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine.

However, after the substance was tested, it was found to be oxycodone instead of cocaine. He was held in a Miami Federal Detention Center for allegedly two months, as stated by USA Today.

Kodak Black Allegedly Threatens A Reporter After His Release From Jail

On Wednesday, February 21, Kodak was released. Instead of Kodak quietly making his exit, he allegedly threw rocks at reporters. It appears the judge’s words did not resonate with Kodak.

Judge Duffy issued him a stern warning, “Straighten out your act,” as stated by Complex. Kodak did not allegedly heed the judge’s warning. Kodak allegedly threatened veteran reporter Rosh Lowe.

Lowe said, “I’ve been doing this a long time, and let me tell you, this is one of the strangest things I have ever seen,” Lowe said on air, adding that Black “threatened to punch me repeatedly.”

So, there you have it. We are unsure if Kodak will face more charges after this alleged incident with the paparazzi.
