Kanye West Honors Late Mom In Latest Verse!!!
Kanye West lost his mom, Dr. Donda West, a few years back. July 13th would have marked her 71st birthday. Reaching into his bag of samples, West came up with a way to honor his late mother.

In the news due to his announcement that he is running for President of the United States, Hip Hop star Kanye West is toning it down for just a bit. Taking some time out to pay tribute to his mother, who died suddenly on November 10, 2007, West took took Twitter to celebrate her.
As reported by The Source, West pays a musical tribute to his loving mother with a track simply titled, ‘Donda’. He starts the track off with his mom quoting “Sounds of da Police” by KRS-One.
About a minute and a half in, West begins his rapping verse with –
“Mama I need you to tuck me in. I done made some mistakes and they rubbed it in.
I know you and grandma had enough of them. Why I gotta be so stubborn then.
I’m doin this one for y’all. So we can end racism once and for all.”
