According to Judge Mathis, these jokes embarrass the entire black community. With his influential voice, Mathis hopes to raise awareness about the detrimental impact of such humor and change the comedy industry.

Mathis is known for his no-nonsense approach to justice. In a video post on his IG page, the notable judge spoke about the feud between comedians Monique and DL Hughley.
This ongoing feud with Monique and DL was reignited during her interview with Shannon Sharp on “Club Shay Shay.”
However, Katt Williams’s interview on ‘Club Shay Shay’ started the ball rolling. As we all know, Katt blasted comedians Steve Harvey, Cedric The Entertainer, and others.
The interview with Katt went viral, and all hell broke loose. TMZ reports Judge Mathis calls the comedian’s feuds an embarrassment to Black Culture.
While Judge Mathis wants comedians to apologize for their offensive remarks , he wants this to end. According to Yahoo, Mathis says, ‘stop going after each other in public’, and leave your families out of this.
Also, Judge Mathis admits he has been allegedly a bit messy at times. But we must draw the line at verbally attacking each other, especially in public.
In other words, if you have an issue with someone, get to them. Don’t air out your dirty laundry for the world to see.
