Detective Claims YNW Melly Was The Shooter. The young rapper is facing murder charges. And, it is not looking good.

Detective Claims YNW Melly Was The Shooter. A police detective is scheduled to testify against YNW Melly. During his trial, the scene of the shooting is being reconstructed.
Detective Christopher Williams is one of the expert witnesses. He intends to tell the jury, that Jamel “YNWMelly” Demons shot his crew. It was not Cortlen Henry the other person in the case.
Here is what Williams is alleging happened,
“Detective Williams says he reconstructed the shooting by looking at blood splatter and the angles of the bullet holes and gunshot wounds … and it appears the shooter was seated in the backseat, behind the driver, and shot the victim from inside the car,”
So, it appears his testimony may clinch Demon’s fate. Demons trial is scheduled to start on July 6, 2022. He is being charged with two counts of murder.
If Demons is convicted, he faces the death penalty, as reported by Complex. Both Demons and Henry are facing considerable jail time.
In addition, Henry is charged with accessory after the fact. In other words, Henry collaborated with Demon’s initial story. However, Henry will be tried separately.
This Is What Really Happened
“It was on October 26, 2018, when the murders took place. Jamell Demons aka YNW Melly is standing trial for the murder of his two friends, Anthony Williams and Christopher Thomas. Allegedly, the shooting deaths occurred on October 26, 2018. YNW and his friend Cortlen Henry lied to the police. YNW said that his two friends were shot during a drive-by shooting. However, Anthony, Christopher, YNW, and Cortlen were inside the car together. Police say that ballistic tests prove the drive-by did not happen. In fact, shots came from inside the vehicle.”
Clearly, something went terribly wrong that morning. Which led to two men losing their lives. While the other two men, allegedly conspired to cover up the crime.
Therefore, Henry and Demons are in for the fight for their freedom. But I don’ think either of them will win. Especially since there is considerable evidence against them.
