A$AP Rocky has a new whisky launch happening. Available in 28 states, you can purchase your bottle on the Mercer + Prince website starting in early April.

A$AP Rocky is now in the whisky business.
And the new spirit Mercer + Prince is a Canadian (80 proof/40% ABV) whisky created with Global Brand Equities and E & J Gallo.
So where does that name come from?
According to Billboard, the new whisky gets its name from Rocky’s favorite intersection in his hometown of New York City.
Though the Mercer + Prince website calls it the intersection between art and culture.
Actually, Mercer Street and Prince Street in New York are said to be two iconic cross streets where people from all walks of life come together.
As for the flavors of this whisky, here is the description –
“a complex profile with fruit aromas on the nose, smooth vanilla, and caramel notes on the palate layered with intense hints of baked apple and cinnamon from the Japanese Mizunara Oak influence.”

“Twice distilled and aged for a minimum of 4 years in American oak (ex-bourbon) barrels to drive sweet aeromatics.”
“Influenced with Japanese Mizunara Oak to deliver baking spice character and achieve a profile that is richer and most robust than other leading Canadian whiskies.”
And if you are curious, the statuesque bottle is unique.
As it sports a dynamic two-cup design, created to stand out on any surface.
Speaking on the announcement, Rocky said –
“I’m so excited and grateful to finally introduce Mercer + Prince to the world. I have been learning about whisky from all over the world for the past decade and wanted to defy the rules to create something unique, while honoring and respecting industry traditions.”
A$AP Rocky’s whisky is the latest celebrity to jump into the business.
Dwyane “The Rock” Johnson’s tequila and Jamie Foxx’s bourbon are just a couple of many celebrities with spirit brands.
Starting in early April, you can purchase Rocky’s whisky for $32 bucks.
