Dame Dash Says XxxTentacion Will Be Seen As This Generation’s Tupac or Biggie.
In an interview with website all hiphop Dash talked about young slain rap artist Xxxtentacion death being similar to Biggie and Tupac. Especially, when it comes to young people from the ages of 15-25. Dash talked about how violence in his time is almost like the violence we all see now.
Dash has a point, are our young teens more prone to violent behaviors? It certainly appears to be true. There are so many black on black killings. Of course, the killing of young black men has been going on for a long time. However, in the age of social media the news of death spreads a lot faster. Unfortunately, the untimely death of Xxxtentacion is no different. His death is highly published just like Tupac and Biggie deaths were.
We can see why Dash made the comparisons about Tupac and Biggie. It’s almost like they knew they would not live long. These three rap artist music gravitated towards expressing death and dying. Ultimately, their own words were self fulfilled prophecy.
