This time, it was due to an incident that took place during a performance in Las Vegas, where she allegedly threw a mic into the crowd, injuring a fan. As a result, Cardi B is now facing legal consequences and a lawsuit for her actions.

And, fans were quick to oblige her request, allegedly. Jane Doe is claiming she splashed a small portion of her drink in Cardi’s direction.
After the alleged drink splashed on Cardi, she got upset. That is when Cardi allegedly threw her mic into the crowd. The mic Cardi B threw allegedly hit Jane Doe.
Other concertgoers were not hit. As a result, Jane Doe claims she suffered injuries.
Lawsuit Filed Against The Rapper
As expected, a lawsuit was filed against Cardi B by the fan who was injured in the incident. At this time, Cardi B’s attorney, Drew Findling, says,
“The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and the Clark County District Attorney’s Office closed this matter for insufficient evidence a long time ago, but apparently the opportunity to try to make money off of a celebrity was too much for some willing law firm to pass up.”
TMZ reports that Cardi was explicit about any charges. But that did not stop Jane Doe from filing the lawsuit. Is this a money grab case? Or did Jane Doe receive injuries from the allegedly mic being thrown?
Jane Doe’s attorneys, Cierra N. Norris and Thomas N. Beckom, are saying,
“Acting in accordance with the environment created by Cardi B’s express words and conduct, and in a manner consistent with other attendees, [Jane Doe] splashed a small portion of her drink in Cardi B’s direction,” the new filing states. “In apparent anger and without warning,” Cardi B then “aggressively and intentionally launched” her microphone “directly” at Jane Doe, striking and injuring her, the lawsuit claims.”
As with other lawsuits, there is a possibility that Cardi will have to pay compensation to Jane Doe. Additionally, Cardi may be liable for Jane Doe’s alleged pain and suffering.
This legal battle could potentially drag on for months, with both parties fighting to defend their side of the story in court.
