DJ Envy & Gunplay’s Heated Phone Call. The popular radio host was in a heated phone argument with rapper Gunplay. And the video recording of the exchange has gone viral. The two got into a tense discussion over a comment made by Gunplay during an appearance on Envy’s radio show. As the argument escalated, the video captured the intense exchange, with both parties shouting and using strong language.

The phone argument started after Envy dragged Gunplay into his beef with Rick Ross.

Gunplay aired his conversation with Envy via video on his cell phone, as stated by XXL Mag.

In the video, Gunplay can be heard saying he would allegedly slap Envy.

Both men went back and forth for a while.

It was all due to Envy commenting on Gunplay’s wife starting a GoFundMe.

Former Maybach Music Group artist’s infant daughter is very ill.

The GoFundMe was set up to help pay for medical expenses for Gunplay’s infant child.

The argument between the two escalated quickly, especially since, Gunplay felt Envy disrespected his wife.

According to Hot New Hip Hop, Envy offered an apology by the end of the heated exchange.

This was all in an attempt to cool things down. Envy did not want any repercussions.

Of course, the video has since gone viral on social media.

Although Envy apologized to Gunplay, Gunplay’s wife did not have it.

Vonshae Taylor-Morales jumped on Instagram and posted an angry message to Envy.

In her rant, Morales said,

“To make a joke about a child near fatal situation isn’t funny!!! For you to be a father of SIX you know damn well if anything happened to them you would give your life,” he missive began. “My family, my daughter and her GoFundMe had nothing to do with y’all little fake beef. You let these blogs run with a narrative that is completely false and led to so much bs.”

 

Also, Morales mentioned that Rick Ross had donated large amounts to their daughter’s medical expenses.

So, there you have it. Perhaps, Envy will stifle his tongue. Or at least be careful about his comments on matters that don’t concern him.
