Federal prosecutors have recently charged a former account manager at a Beverly Hills business management firm with stealing over $2 million from a high-profile celebrity client, whom sources have identified as Nick Cannon.

The Accused and the Scheme

Frank Musoke, 38, worked for a firm that handled financial affairs for elite entertainers. According to an eight-count federal indictment, Musoke leveraged his full access to “Individual A’s” (Cannon’s) bank accounts, debit cards, and PINs to systematically drain funds between December 2019 and June 2023.

The breakdown of the alleged theft includes:

• $1.73 million in unauthorized ATM withdrawals.

• $191,543 for personal travel expenses.

• $165,270 spent on Amazon purchases.

• $160,000+ on various other personal items.

Discovery and Legal Fallout

The firm discovered the financial discrepancies and fired Musoke in July 2023. Beyond the theft, Musoke is also accused of tax evasion for failing to report $1.76 million in stolen income on his federal tax returns for 2021 through 2023.

Authorities believe Musoke has fled the country and is currently in Uganda, where he holds dual citizenship. If captured and convicted, he faces up to 20 years in federal prison for each count of wire fraud and five years for each tax evasion count.
